Job Description
Provide technical support lead in the areas of vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, network security, product evaluation, and security implementation.  Provide technical evaluations of customer systems and assists with making security improvements. Participates in design of information system contingency plans that maintain appropriate levels of protection and meet time requirements for minimizing operations impact to customer organization. Conducts security product evaluations, and recommends products, technologies and upgrades to improve the customer’s security posture. Conducts testing and audit log reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of current security measures.

Clearance: Top Secret with a current SSBI (less than 5 years old)

Required Skills

  • College degree in IT or related field

  • Be able to work in a team environment but be capable of operating independently with regards to system characterization, assimilating the necessary security requirements, assessing compliance, making remediation and/or mitigation recommendations and drafting certification documents.

Information Assurance Analyst

Job Description
The ISSO are responsible for ensuring the implementation of the Security Program developed by the Information System Security Manager for a particular system or systems. Additionally, the ISSO assists in the development and maintenance of the System Security Plan and Associated Documentation Ensuring the system is certified and accredited. ISSO are also responsible for evaluating known vulnerabilities to determine if additional safeguards are needed.
