MISSING LINK SECURITY™ began as a “Sole Proprietorship” in November 1993 and later incorporated as a subchapter “S” Corporation in June 1995. We are classified as a “7a” Veteran-owned small business. Our unique organization provides customers, both government and commercial, with all phases of computer and information security. We offer several security solutions for protecting information resources and assets. We will evaluate which system(s) or safeguards to implement and then review the effectiveness of those already in place.

Missing Link’s core business mission evolved from Executive Order 13010 which established the President’s Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection (PPCIP). The PCCIP advises and assists the President of the United States by recommending a national strategy for protecting critical infrastructures from physical and cyber threats. This Executive Order created eight sectors that the PCCIP is to examine for security vulnerabilities. Each sector is listed below.
  • Information and Communications
  • Electrical Power Systems
  • Gas and Oil Transportation and Storage
  • Banking and Finance
  • Transportation
  • Water Supply Systems
  • Emergency Services
  • Government Services
